Puerto Almanza + Centolla Route or “Ruta de la Centolla” is one of the most interesting and captivating circuits on the planet, given the combination of exquisite dishes made from fresh seafood and king crab, with dazzling landscapes where the forest penetrates the Beagle Channel in a passionate and whimsical way.

After traveling National Route 3, at kilometer 35, we will reach the intersection with Provincial Route J, which will take us another 40 kilometers through the forest, accompanied at all times by the Lasifahsaj River.

Our first destination: Laguna Victoria. There, we will have our breakfast at an ancestral site full of history from our indigenous peoples. This lagoon, which freezes in winter, is a natural site par excellence throughout the year.

After the snack, we head to Puerto Almanza, a small fishing village located on the east coast of the Beagle Channel, 75 km from the city of Ushuaia. The name of the place comes from a sawmill that operated in the area between the 1940s and 1950s. There, we will contemplate the beauties of the place, and our reservation will be ready to delight in the most original indigenous dishes, along the Beagle Channel.
