The tour to Ojo del Albino Glacier is a high-demand trekking, covering 20 kilometers round trip through the most beautiful landscapes of Tierra del Fuego.

At the beginning, passengers will be picked up from their respective hotels. Firstly, we will head east on RN3. Next, at km 20, we will start the hike towards Laguna Esmeralda.

It’s almost 5 km one way, where we will cross two completely different valleys: Tierra Mayor Valley, at 250 meters above sea level, and Esmeralda River Valley. It involves two hours of hiking through pristine forests, peat bogs, beaver dams, mountains, and glaciers, delighting us with their colors and nature.

Later, around 10 AM, we will reach Laguna Esmeralda. We will continue on the right bank to begin the ascent to Ojo del Albino. An hour later, we will be navigating high mountain terrain, requiring much concentration and physical effort. Also, erratic blocks of gigantic sizes appear, announcing the glacial origin of the landscape.

At the 7 km mark, we will make a stop to enjoy lunch in the mountains. Meanwhile, we will replenish our energy and take a short break to not lose momentum in the final ascent. Then, we will continue towards the Balcones del Ojo del Albino, where we will have an incredible view of Laguna Esmeralda and its high valley. Next, without losing concentration, we will climb a wall to reach the impressive Glaciar Ojo del Albino.

Finally, around 4 PM, we will begin the return journey on the same trail. We will leave behind a trail of great physical effort that is worth exploring and will surely remain in the memory of every adventurer who completes it.
