White panorama Day starts 30km away from the city of Ushuaia, in the glacial valleys framed by snow-covered mountains, Tierra del Fuego offers the ideal setting for various snow activities: activities with husky dogs, snowshoeing, sledding, and snowmobiling.
With the appropriate weather and snow conditions, winter travelers can enjoy fully organized tours with transfers, lunch or dinner, and specialized guides.
We start with the hotel pick-up, from where we will have a half-hour transfer to our winter center. The excursion consists of 3 outdoor activities, always guided by a trained person. First, we will do a light snowshoe trek on a frozen peat bog. Snowshoes are very useful when there is a lot of snow. The guide will provide information about the landscape, flora, fauna, notable landforms, and about the beaver dams we will see along the way.
After, you will go on a snowmobile ride around a circuit. If you have never ridden a snowmobile before, it won’t be an obstacle. The guide will give instructions on how to do it, and if you can’t, we will drive for you. Two people will ride on each snowmobile, and halfway through the circuit, there will be a driver change so that both can drive. Finally, our well-trained sled dogs will take you for a ride through the snowy forests. Afterward, we will invite you to our cozy restaurant to enjoy a warm lunch.
