The Beagle Channel Navigation tour visits Lobos Island, the Eclaireurs Lighthouse, exploring the waters at the end of the world and admiring the diverse fauna of the region

Sailing from the local tourist dock, we traverse the wide Bay of Ushuaia until reaching the *Beagle Channel through the Paso Chico. There, we will navigate around de los Pájaros island (Bird Island), where we can appreciate the birdlife of Tierra del Fuego. We will observe: Skuas, Black-browed Albatrosses, Steam Ducks, Upland Geese, Kelp Gulls, and Dolphin Gulls. Later, we will approach Lobos Island, where we can observe one and two-haired sea lions. Both islands belong to the Bridges Archipelago.

Upon reaching the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (The Illuminators), we can see colonies of Imperial Cormorants and Rock Cormorants while listening to the story of the sinking of the SS Monte Cervantes. This navigation includes a descent in Puerto Karelo, belonging to the Bridges Islands, where genuine Yámana shell middens can be visited. This guided walk lasts approximately 20 minutes and focuses on a panoramic point where excellent photographs can be taken.

At the end of the Beagle Channel, Lighthouse, Lobos Island journey, you will be amazed by the view of the mountain range that surrounds the city of Ushuaia and its sumptuous surrounding nature. The journey we undertake is filled with historical and, of course, scenic value. We visit truly interesting places that you should not miss the opportunity to explore.
